Opened it up last night. It hadn't gone bad -- in fact, it was very enjoyable, although I suspect that it would have been better had it been stored properly. Very dry sparkling wine with a lovely touch on the tongue. A friend said she couldn't even feel it go down her throat, it was so smooth.
