About Valpolicella and Bardolino produced by Masi I want to remember the grapes involved in their production which are more or less the same: Corvina, Molinara & Rondinella. They are very typical from the Valpolicella Area and are also used in the making of blockbuster wines such as the famous Amarone (dry) and traditional Recioto della Valpocella (sweet dessert wine). According to Innkeeper Bardolino and Valpolicella are very light red wines and I perfectly agree! So they are the ideal companion to drink during a meal, to drink alone much more better and interesting the more expensive Amarone, king of what we call in Italy "wines for meditation".
