For months I have been looking at 4 bottles in my cellar that had lost their labels. By the capsule I was aware that they are Italian wines.

Opened one last night and swear it is a Settimo Dolcetto D'Alba--vintage? Clean, both acidic and tannic, but quickly softens in the glass, berry fruit, a food wine to be sure.

It paired quite well with escarole en brodo with tortollini formaggio.
