Had the second bottle tonight, and there was no comparison. The first bottle had to have been a dud for whatever reason. This one was just fine. Mature fruit and black pepper on the nose and forward taste buds, some earthiness across the palate, and a nice finish. Had it with hamburgers again, to be on the safe side, and they were perfect with it. Best we can remember they were two for $12.00, so can't really complain. Much better than getting a $20.00 dud.
