Magnums generally store better than .750's but due to the larger bottle, more area exposure to air, deteriorate faster. My magnum purchases are for longer term aging and partying with friends. You can slow the oxidation process a little by pouring into smaller bottles, .375's, up to the top and resealing or invite a few friends over [img]http://wines.com/ubb2/biggrin.gif[/img]. I would think the yellowtail would already be showing signs of deterioration.
