went to a GREAT restaurant in the Bishopsgate area of London (on Spital Square) called Gavin L Chappelle. Yes, this would be the reference to Paul Jaboulet's Hermitage La Chappelle.

the food was absolutely solid.

The wine we ordered for lunch as a moderately priced wine, 2001 Tour de By. Perhaps a bit muted but good finesse, medium + body, needed some time to open up to show bright and ripe berries. Good length, still has good grip and is not showing its best yet but is a good drink now.
