Hmm after a bit more decanting, this bottle is opening up a bit. I like a more now. It's now picked up a bit of smokiness and gravel and the flavors are more dense with still a good acid/tannin back. Still only medium body though and still only medium length finish.

A quick search on the internet noted that this person is actually Jean Michel Cazes of Chateau Lynch Bages.
