I just relaized that tgis post could go into two areas: Chardonnay and East Coast. I guess when the categories were set up, the East Coast was viewed as a singular place...

Anyway, this Chardonnay is right up IK's (and my) alley. Clean, snappy, minimal wood if any (a slight vnilla character) and a lot of maltiness, which always appeals to me in this variety. At $10, it is a steal.

Paired well with veal Milanese and sage.
