Tried a bottle tonight and I'm a bit mixed but overall positive on this wine. Just a bit too oaky, smokey for me but okay because there is so much of the other stuff.

It was very dark garnet/purple in color. Wine is very fruit forward with jammy currant, toasty oak, coffee/chocolate and a hint of stemminess. Densely flavored wine with a medium finish. Decent for the price (but not at the restaurant price for $60CDN per bottle or about $54 USD....well I guess 2.5 times.....Matched up very well to a maytag blue on a 7 oz Fillet Mignon.
