Anything I've ever read,outside the posts on wine boards, concerning the consumption of red wine and health benifits stress that the key is Moderate drinking; 6-8 oz.? per day. For most of us that's not going to happen. But I guess you have to weigh the effects on your health of the dangers of excessive alcohol consumption and the health benifits of red wine and the quality of life we enjoy from drinking a good bottle of wine.
