We missed this year and will be going to the red festival at Seaside in early November (I'm not sure what to expect -- have you heard anything?). We went to Winesouth last year and found too many people.

I was glad to see your notes on the Tiger Mountain. We just had a 20 year old Mississippi muscadine wine (not considered "wine" by true believers), and I swear that it would stand up against any dessert wine in complexity.

I love Bridlewood syrah.

At a recent wine group tasting, one of our recorded comments was "Get breast cream." Meaning and context are lost forever, so I commiserate.
