Welcome to the board George. You're poised to go on one magical journey. I have a suggestion that will help. When you decide the wines that hit the spot ie: cabernets, pinots, or zinfandels go to that thread and open it and start backwards. This board contains more REAL knowledge without the pomp and vitrol than any I've ever seen. Unfortunately I'm about to hang up my Riedels. I haven't quit completely but at a smooth 89 yars my ole' body told me no more bottle a day at lunch. I'll be here daily so if you find you have specific questions I can probably be of some help.
