2004 Nickel and Nickel Tench Vineyards

The last of my three pack and this vineyard was Tench. I had tasted this at the winery and thought this one would hold up the best of the three. Not sure that was true as all of them seemed to have come this far. I'm loving all of the '04's that I've had lately. Fantastic time to look into this vintage.

The wine was solid right from the first pop. Solid and elegant, nose of blueberries, expresso, and earth. Oak has been mostly absorbed by now leaving a very pure fruit. The wine gained in dimension and breadth as the night went along. Love this wine.
