Hello all. Been just lurking on the board since its redesign, because it would not accept my log-in info anymore. This thread made me try for the heck of it to log on, and voila, it worked!!!

So, just had to say as someone who has been a co-pilot on wheels with WW, I totally enjoyed his little story above. Didn't snicker, per WW's request. Just laughed my -ss off.

I, too, have had to drive down Howell Mountain -- at about 2 am after nearly 8 hours of eating and drinking at Mark Neal's home in Angwin, and that wrapped up 17 hours of tasting wines that had started at 9 am the previous morning at Caymus. Wow, was that one helluva day/night.

Yet somehow I managed to keep the wheels on the road and not only made it down Howell Mountain but drove all the way out of Napa, over into Sonoma and made it to my hotel in Santa Rosa.

Hmmm, I wonder if this is the time to revisit the tale of my brief drive with WW in Vegas? Think "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride." :-O

I love ya, WW, and really hope to see you again soon. And it's good to be back on the board.
