Glad you can be there for part of the time. Maybe Gene (Glenora) will help out with the itinerary.

Mike,

I hope you're not planning on driving out Saturday morning and returning Saturday night!!! It's a 6 hour drive from Welessley - and then back again!!!

Wonders & all

I am happy to set up an agenda (which can be changed as situations warrant). Given that there have had to be so many changes in travel plans I have lost track of who is coming and when, as well as their departure times. So, if everyone could let me know their arrival date/time and departure date/time it would be a great help to me in setting up an agenda.

Thanks, Glenora (Gene)

Glen,

I will be there by about 10 am on Saturday morning and will be able to stay until dinner. My wife will also be attending.

KC, I will be driving to Toronto (another 3 hours away) after that to attend a conference.

Mike

Gene,
I will be arriving about 5:30 or 6:00 PM Friday June 8th (hopefully) and departing after breakfast Monday the 11th.
I am editing this to indicate that I am hopeful of arriving no later than 6:00 PM. I will definitely be coming but could arrive later if I miss a connecting flight or if the plane departs late from La Guardia Airport to Rochester.

I'm very sorry to say that due to Bev's physical condition we had to cancel this morning. Talked to Gene personally. Hope the other three of you (four on Saturday) have a great time.

Sorry IK. I hope Bev is soon feeling better.

We may have to share our wine with other guests at the Inn or we will be swimming in it.

Just to confirm....i's this weekend right???

I made a bit of a mistake I thought it was next weekend. It may even work better in fact.

In that case I'll be there for sure on Sunday then. If I can manage it, I may be able to find a way to drop in on Saturday too. I'll confirm.

See everyone Sunday. Looking forward ta popping a few bottles. BTW, what is the itinerary?

Mike, Manage it. It's much more than just driving around to a few wineries.

We're going up tomorrow morning and coming back Monday morning.

I guess we'll talk to Gene when we arrive. We don't have a formal itinerary. I look forward to seeing you. (In 2004 we visited Hermann Weimer, Anthony Road, Dr. Konstantin Frank (tour given by his son Willi, now deceased), Lamoreux Landing, Knapp? (I was having foot problems so skipped a couple of the winery visits.) We also did the dosage, corking, labeling etc. of a Glenora Sparkling Wine with our names on the label. Each had a bottle to take home. We had a Sunday meal at Foodie's home but he will be in Canada this year. (And Gene ordered in pizzas for us on Friday evening because the power was out.) We had a great dinner at Veraisons (Inn at Glenora Wine Cellars restaurant) on Saturday and opened some of our bottles then.

I know there are times when I feel like a complete idiot...this is one of those times.

We'll drive up first thing Sunday morning and we hope to be there just after you finish breakfast so that we can go the whole itinerary. It would be fun to do the dosage thing!! My wife will be able to join now too (got stuck in Toronto today).

Thanks for the warning KC! I will call Glenora Inn when I'm on the way in. Is there anyone I can email my cellphone number to?

See you on Sunday!

Day One

After the tradiional "Breakfast of Champions" (sparkling wine)-- a tradition instituted by WW, the group--Wonders, KC and his frined of 30+ years, Ken, and I headed of to Hermam Wiemers, Fox Run, Sheldrake (lunch there as well), Lamoreaux Landing (we recieved a tearful call from WW while there) and Wagner (wine and beer). As well there was a bit of sight seeing and photo opportunities--hang on Judy. This evening will be focused on Pinot Noir followed by single malt scotch and/or Port. Tomorrow the Engineer will be joining us for Day Two-- perhaps we will find Foodie.

Gene

I had good intentions of popping over to Glenora for Sunday morning services, but when I came home from three days at Brock University in Ontario, I had with me a slight stomach ailment that landed me on my rear for a day and is keeping me close to a certain small room in the house today...

Hope you all had fun.
