WW, Sorry I did not respond. I was going to defer that decision for more...umm... experienced members. Tongue but here is my order:

Ch. Montelena Estate
Gallo Barilli Creek
Raymond reserve
Joseph Phelps Napa
Mt. Veeder Napa
Dehlinger Estate.

thanks WW!

Sorry to say that I had to cancel our reservations at Glenora. Saturday, June 9th turns out to be the date of a good friend's daughter's wedding. Joy and I were still going to drive all night after the wedding and get there to spend Sunday with y'all and drive home Monday, but now Joy must be in church for June 10, Confirmation Sunday, because she's a mentor. I don't want to make the journey alone, so I cancelled. It saddened me to do so.

Can we get a definitive count real soon of everyone who's now going to be at the offline. With GAD, Georgie and hotwine now out, we really need a good count so we can figure how much to bring (and WW how much to send). Also, it'll help Gene with any planning he needs to do.

Thanks, folks.

I'm still coming. How about IK and Bev? I have to say I'm disappointed with the turnout. I reserve some of my vacation days and budget to get together with other wine lovers that say they will come this year and then they drop out. I hope Engineer and Brappy and Harriet can make it.

yes, i was planning on it. but i'm in the middle of a job search now and don't even know that i'll still be on the east coast then. or could be right in the middle of a move. asked for days off work for this months ago, but now i can't commit because i have no idea what my status will be come june. of course, if someone wants to offer me a great newspaper or wine industry job, i'm all ears.

Good luck with the job search. Maybe a monthly publication like "Washingtonian?"

I still can't say for sure. If I do get to go, it would be for Friday night and Saturday leaving in the evening. Probably Thursday night as well but that doesn't really help.

But like I said, I still just don't know. My schedule is sooooo in the hands of others at the moment. And they've not let me yet know what it is.

I'm still trying though.

Those of us who are still going to be there are going to have some serious fun. I hope Foodie has been able to adjust his previous schedule and will be able to join more of the festivities.

Gene, Do you have anyone from Lichtenstein booked into the Inn this time?

KC,

I have no choice. I'll be speaking at a wine conference that week. But I might be able to see you all that Sunday.

WW--
Can you just ship the wines-- those lowly ones, that did not make that cut at the start of this post-- to me???

I hope that all you kids have a great time! I've sent a few things to KC to bring and share with ya all-- so I am there in, well, your glass???
(And on your plate, you'll see.)

Kat

Hey, Kathy! Anne got your e-mail, but has been swamped preparing for an upcoming trial, so she wanted me to let you know that she'll be sending a catch-up very soon.

Okay, so got my formal schedules this week and bar any changes, I will be able to come for one day Saturday and it will be my better half and I (the bigger half).

Does anyone have a bit of an itinerary for Saturday so that we can join with you when we arrive (I will be driving in from Boston)? Unfortunately, we will need to depart Saturday night due to my travel needs.
