Saw the surgeon yesterday and he wanted to do another scope on my problem this morning and he did. He found that the tumor was much too high to operate. If he did he would have to take the voice box with it, and even then there would be little or nothing to reattach the esophagus to. He is calling the doctors in New Hampshire and recommending immediate chemo/radiation treatment. He thinks this may cure it completely, or at least shrink it to the point he can get it out without the problems above. He definitely wants to see me again in a few months.

We are heading home tomorrow.

Keep your spirits up IK, just another step in the road to recovery! If the doctor was optimistic of the next steps, I would be as well!

Hi IK and glad to see things look a tad brighter. Got home late yesterday and frankly in the severe "Tequila-Withdrawel" mode I was in dint have the energy to fire this sucker up.
