I'm interested in putting down a few top-notch bottles of Cabs for 5+ years. I plan on adding yearly so I can begin to reap the tasty benifits yearly. I drink plenty of your $15 varietals and I'm looking to have some really special bottles for annivaries, birthdays and hopefully when the Cubs win the world series.

For my 1st round, any recomendations on what would be absolultly delicious is 5 or so years?

Welcome to the board, Scottie. Suggest you look over the Cab thread for such wines... our resident Cab expert Winoweenie aka WW frequently posts his recommendations for "hold periods". Keep in mind you need excellent storage conditions to buy and hold good wines.... temp consistent at 55-57F, RH at 60-70%, no light and no vibration. Mess with any of those variables and your plan will come a cropper.
