William Hill 1989 Reserve Napa Cabernet Sauvignon

We received a large bottle (maybe 1 liter?) of William Hill 1989 Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon for Christmas. Unfortunately, we no nothing of the worth/quality of wine. Could anyone tell us the taste rating and price of this bottle? Thanks.

Hi hlc and welcome to the board. The 89 vintage, unfortunately was not kind to Calif wines, and Napas' in particular. The quality of the Bill Hill is good but if it 'twere mine, I'd open the sucker. Not a great deal of collectible value. WW
