Is it possible to find a Hungarian tokay (tokaji) anywhere in the US? I've been looking ever since I came back from Hungary with a couple of bottles that lasted less than a few days. I like them edes (sweet). Every time I ask someone, they look at me as if I've made them up. If you've found some, how much do they run? and can you find it online anywhere? We don't have much of a selection in New Mexico.

Coming soon to a site near you: http://www.wdwines.com/ Be prepared to spend a lot, at least a lot for moi. Knees get weak over $25.00, and what you lust for starts around $50.00.

Thanks Inkeeper. I really should have looked around more before I posted that question. I found a great spot--www.erniesdeli.com--that has German, Polish, and Hungarian imported foods and wines. They have the pricey tokays, but they also have very affordable ones--the ones I bought in Hungary, in fact--for less than $18 (one brand for $4). Another site--Otto's Deli at http://members.aol.com/HungImprts/ottos.htm--has a great selection as well for just about as much. I'm so happy I found these sites. I've been looking everywhere for good, Hungarian tokays and now I can do the dance of joy!
