Gift Suggestion

I am looking for some assistance in choosing a red wine for my girlfriends parents...something in the 20-30 dollar range. I have no clue about wines....HELP!!!

Not knowing where you live, also makes it difficult. For something different, that they should like try an American Syrah. They are making excellent ones in Washington, Oregon, and parts of California such as the Central Coast. They are doing some good things with it up in BC if you happen to hail from that side of the border.

OK, ya gotta be more specific...is the wine for an upcoming dinner or is it simply a gift? Also give us a clue as to the "social status/class" of the "prospective in-laws"...we need more facts guy.
