So I decided to step into the world of Beaujolais. Just bought two bottles. Here's what I have...

2000 Beaujolais-Villages; Louis Jadot; Appellation Controlee. $8.99

and...

2000 Moulin-A-Vent; Georges Duboeuf; Comte de Sparre. $11.99

Now a few questions...

1. Were these good selections?
2. Are they ready to drink?
3. Quaffable? or will I be wasting good wine if I don't drink these with an appropriate meal?

Anything else I should know?

A quick response would be great... I'm ready to pop these suckers!

Thanks for the help!

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Yes
4. They will go with almost anything any red wine would go with. The Moulin-a-Vent would call for a somewhat more heavier meal than the Villages.
