Ok, this is all new to me and was wondering where to begin on wine making. Is it very complicated? Nothing set in stone, just a thought to mabee try and looking for direction!

Well, since no one else has stepped up, here's something for you.

Ceck out this web site - http://home.att.net/~lumeisenman/
This is "The Home Winemakers Manual" by Lum Eisenman and it's a really good reference with very good explanations on the process and how to best go about it.

Also, look in your yellow pages under Winemaking Equipment and Supplies for a shop near you. Take a trip to a shop and talk to someone there who can help you pick up what you'll need to get started.

Wasn't ignoring your plea for help but found out meeny years ago I can buy MUCH better juice than I can make. Lots of time, effort, money and mess for little compensation. WW

Great point, ww. While it would certainly be a good thing to actually try to make good wine, and I've tried a few times, there are too many better wines out there for me to spend my time trying to emulate them. Some have been wildly successful at their attempts, Brian Loring comes immediately to mind, but mine have been less than stellar attempts.

Thank you for the reference. I will be sure to check them out. As for actually making the wine? Well, we shall see. I will first attempt to read up on it.
For now, I will enjoy drinking them!
