At $6.99, this is a good Argentinian gulper wine. fruit forward with sour cherry and dark berries, light to medium body with a light touch of herbal tannins to give depth.
I think it's a step below Masciarelli Montepulciano or any of a number of Monastrells from Jumilla, but a pleasant enough wine for the dollar.

I gotta remember to search for previous notes prior to tasting!

Time to hunker down for the blizzard and maybe open up something more serious!
