Welcome to the Board Stinky. We put garlic on almost everything, and have not found a wine that it interferred with.

You know, that is a great question.

I grow garlic, drink wine and wrote a book about garlic, wine and olive oil. But I don't think I ever tried pairing just garlic with wine.

A roasted garlic with wine. I'll do it soon and report back. Come to think of it, I have had sparkling wine with roasted garlic smeared on bread; don't remember hating the match.

Garlic, Wine and Olive Oil" by Thomas Pellechia (2000). Great little book. Looking at my copy while typing. Published by Capra Press, Santa Barbara.

Roasted whole garlic in EVOO has been a staple at our house for over 20 years. Spread that sucker on a piece of fresh baguette and enter nirvana. WW
