2000 Domaine les Charmes Pouilly-Fumé

Light straw color. A herbaceous scent and also a very full aroma of baked apple (I think). Some acid and I think some earth as well, but the flavors were balanced and subtle, so it was hard to pick out specifics. Tasty, basically a straightforward sauvignon blanc, not stupendous.
