I dined at Pierro's Italian Bistro in downtown Fayetteville last night and ordered one glass of this and one glass of a Valpolicella.
This was only $5.00 for a glass and probably a 4-5 oz. pour. Had it with fried calamari with lemon (I passed on the marinara sauce.)

Pale straw color with transparency. Moderate crispness and acidity. Still tasting fresh. Tastes as if it saw no wood. Pleasant lemon tinge to the palate but not as citrusy as some Sauvignon Blancs.
Maybe between apple/pear spectrum and lemon.
I liked it and thought it went well with the calamari. Wine-searcher shows it for as little as $5.95 a bottle and most prices well under $10.00. How do they do it?

Shush up. This is the best kept secret in CA-CA wines.

I usually agree on this wine, but I found the 2007 to be their least impressive release in many a moon.
