1999 Fontodi Chianti Classico

nice deep, classic chianti nose: red fruit & spice with a hint of mocha. full flavor of cherries, spice and a little floral (violets and/or roses?). long finish. this is an elegant, complex wine that got better with more air time (decanted a half hour before tasting). very nice, but at a fairly steep price ($25.99).
