Bordeaux – 1999 Medoc, La Cardonne

Anyone know if this is a good wine. A friend of mine gave it to me for nothing which makes me wonder.

This underachieving Cru Bourgeois property has been a dissapointment even since the the Rothschilds (Lafite) acquired the property in 73. Wines are no big deal and the 99 vintage didn't change it much. Open this with some friends as it may give some insught into the marvelous wines Bordeaux can produce. WW
