I have a bottle of Bordeaux that is quite old and I would like to find out if it has any value. Thank-you

There are an awful lot of "ifs" that have to be answered before any value can be determined.

You have not provided enough information for anyone to make an attempt at answering your question.

Numbered bottles can be meaningful to meaningless.

What vintage is your wine?

Give us all the information from the label, please.

Has the wine been properly stored? [Resting on its side, in a cool (55 degrees F), humid (70% or more), dark area. Free from any vibration and not moved around a lot.]

Provide the information and someone here will certainly be able to help you.

Bear in mind, though, that single bottle sales are not the norm, especially at auction where sales generally involve case lots. You might find a buyer for a private sale, but you'll most likely have to be able to document proper handling and storage for the wine.

I know I would not buy a bottle of fine wine unless I knew quite abit about its handling and storage.

Plus the bigger the bottle the better, since the wine tends to age better in the larger bottles starting at a magnum (1.5 liters).
