Found this single bottle in one of my wine haunts bout' a year ago. Although my notes on this winery indicate <average quality wine, bought it cause it was a 94'. Beautiful black ruby with a nose of sweet vanilla, black fruit and a touch of dill that blew off quickly. Medium body and very silky mouthfeel. Dark plums and blackberry with chocolate notes and a little of perfectly balanced oak. I think I paid around $12.
.......and for you cigar buffs
After dinner I fired up a "Mixed Elements" 6x54 from Drew Estate (no relation) which makes Acid Cigars. This is an all natural cigar, no artificial flavorings, which is smooth and creamy with chocolate aromas and taste....one of the best I've had in a long time. I got em' from WWW.Phatash.com.
