1995 La Grande Dame

What a beautiful lady. I love this Champagne. On the nose, it is instantly recognizable as LGD.

Briocche, toast, lively acidity, a bit of nuttiness, lovely texture and body, if a bit lithe. Compared to the 98 it is a bit less dense in flavour, but it would be hard pressed to find a fav between the two. If I had to right now, it would be perhaps the 98 but the 95 will likely outlive that wine.
