2004 Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin La Grande Dame

My first tast of a LDG 04. there has been quite a gap from the last one (6 years). 98 to 2004.

this one was very fresh, ultra fresh, nicely creamy texture, smooth but behind it, the structure was substantial, more so than the 90, 95, 96 and 98 that preceeded it. this thing is a monster in the making in my opinion. lovely and buy as many as you can afford.
