Have received a gift of a Christian Brothers 1975 Cabernet Sauvignon, wondering what its value is before I open it up? Anybody know?
Kinda hard to find anything about Christian Brothers -- maybe they closed up?

Guidsko, Welcome to the board. Christian Bros. sold their winery and property in Napa several years ago. The old gorgeous winery next door to Beringer has been converted to the Culinary Institute, a teaching cooking school, funded by Wine Spectator. The wine you have, alas , wasn`t very good when it were new. Now it is only a curiosity for the lable.Sorry. Winoweenie
