I want to build a wine rack in my basement. However, I only have a 9x6 space that where you can stand in. The rest is crawl space with a dirt floor. My waterheater and gravity heater are located in the walkable space. How far from the waterheater and heater should my rack be? I live in So. CA, Pasadena, and it get rather warm in the summer 100+, at times. <P>Any suggestions?

ttatum, welcome to the board. If you`re serious about collecting, either buy a wine storage cabinet or rent a locker from the many available in your area. Most only charge around 2 bucks per month per case. A whale of a lot less than the heat-induced trauma you`re putting on the poor babies in the cellar(?) winoweenie

Thnaks for the advice. I'll look into outside storage facilities ASAP.
