And if the answer is yes, what would go well with your standard eggy fare?

Thanks for any input!

Bells and whistles on your 2500 mark Buckmeister.

And Doz, though Bubbly and Bloody Marys are traditional brunch fare, like all else it depends on what you are eating. Recently we stopped at a favorite spot in Portsmouth, NH on the way home from a trip. We ended up ordering a dish with beef in it for brunch. Whiles others sipped their BMs we both ordered different heady reds, and enjoyed them thoroughly.

Orange juice with bubbly is another good brunch drink (in Germany it is called Orange und Sekt).

I never took to the orange juice with sparkling thing--can't take the taste of it; maybe it's because the sparkler used at restaurants often is too sweet for my taste.

But you know, rose seems the perfect wine for brunch--light, some fruit, and a chill. Sounds good to me. I haven't done it, but I shall the next time I am up that early in the day...

Blend together chopped peaches with a touch of brandy and a touch of amaretto along with plenty of ice.

Place this mess in the bottom third of a flute and pour a dry champagne (albeit an inexpensive one) to fill the flute.
