I'm pushing my traditional sticky season by a month or so, but am very pleased that I opened this beauty last night. Yet another grand Aussie sticky that puts a smile on one's face and a song in one's heart.

This stuff is only $13 bucks for 375ml. How can our dear friends in the Land of Oz create so much joy for such a small price? Warm and smooth and full of raisins and dried figs, a long and lovely finish, and nice layers of flavor that keep opening out.

I don't think that it ranks with the big stickies, like the Rosemount Old Benson Fine Old Tawny or the DeBartoli Show Muscat. Parker gives it a 97, but I think that's a point or two too high. It's mighty dang good, though.
