1997 Quinta Do Crasto, Late Bottled Vintage Porto ($21 Blue Hill Wine Shop). Alcohol level 19.9%. A very rich tasting, nutty, fruity Port. Could actually descibe the flavor as dense. Killed the bottle with our Christmas host over two late evenings after days spent with our respective families. This was not only a first rate wine, but an excellent value as well.

Picked up another bottle recently, and had some with some extra sharp Canadian cheddar the other night. Yummy!

I agree - I recently bought a bottle of this in Lisbon. An interesting bitterness on the finish.
