This Trockenbeerenauslese is from the Pfalz region of Germany and was in a 500 ml. bottle. I opened in for a visiting wine lover from Phoenix who had business on Fort Bragg. This was a gold prize winner in 1997 at the Wein-und-Sekt (wine and sparkling wine) Pramierung.

Salmon or pale coral color. 7.5% alcohol
Honeysuckle botrytis nose.
I found this too sugary for my taste. I'm again convinced that I prefer Eiswein over BA or TBA wines (at least most of the time--not that I drink many of these anyway.) This became tiresome to me by the third or fourth sip because it seemed cloying. I have enjoyed other Darting wines including Riesling at the Spatlese or Auslese level.
