1994 Sterling Collections Zinfandel; Napa Valley - $NA

Pretty, inky, purple color. Full nose of blackberry, cherry and deep, sweet blueberry behind the initial offering flanked by some spice and a touch of cedar. On the palate, full, almost round jammy flavors with loads of sweet, juicy berries. Nice structure with medium-fine tannins. Drinking wonderfully right now and I can’t see a reason why this wine should not hold well for at least 2 years more, maybe longer. Much, much better than I expected. A delicious stem of wine with our fresh pasta and tomato sauce.

I can not remember the MSRP of this wine. I know that I paid about $8/bottle in a close out which makes this an awesome value. I believe the regular MSRP is around $16 and it would still be a good bottle at that price. Available only through Sterling Collections.
