I am not an experiance wine drinker. I have tasted here and there. Please help.
I am planning to have a nice Italian dinner at a restaraunt. If I am having Pasta w/chicken what type of wine would you recommend. Keep the expense in mind. Also, is there a wine that is sweet and not bitter that I could drink while waiting to be seated?
Thanks!

Hi WHINYGUD and welcome to the Wine Board. If the pasta & chicken has a white sauce, go for a Vernaccia di San Gimignano. If the sauce is red Monte Antico Toscana. Order a glass of Lambrusco while you wait. All are good values and low priced.
