I have an opportunity to purchase a case for $24.30 per bottle after tax. Good deal?

Thanks but should have been clearer. Is the 2006 vintage good or should I not worry?

Tasted and purchased, but naturally, not at the inspetors price. Typically Geyserville and structured for the long thingie. WW

Retailed for $35. It's a blend of Zinfandel, Carignane, Petite Sirah and Mataro. Tanzer (the only critic I read anymore) gave it a 91.

Served at dinner last night and what a beautiful wine. Elegant and complex red and dark berry flavors across the board. Displays a satisfying sweetness that lures you to take another sip. Silky mouthfeel with an intermitant deep berry note enveloped in a touch of chocolate. Very nice!
14.6% Alc/vol.

I was only able to purchase 4 at the 34 per here in the valley but, not to begrudge your purchase, I'll let you open the 1st 8 so I wont do the early "open tango" with this kick-patootie bottling. From the Trentadue vineyard This is the premier, IMHO, bottling of this varietal in America. WW. ( Bye the Bye,,,, Did youse drink this with crabs, mussels, fishie thingies or some major meaty stuff like Porterhousies?)
