Bucko, Picked up this beauty a couple `o months ago and after the mandatory rest (and gettin` off my sabbatical) opened a bottle this lunch period. From old-dry-farmed vines from the Cedolini Family vineyards, this is serious stuff. Almost candied at entry and with the usual black fruits, lots of spice, pepper, and hints of hotness (only 13.8 alcohol) this gets your attention. First time I`ve run into this bottling. WOW! winoweenie

WW, you caught me with my pants down (no comments from the peanut gallery). I have not heard of this wine either, but it sounds like the style that I prefer. How did you dig this one up?

Bucko, My local retailer got 2 cases of this in and I stroked him for one. According to the label.DeRose vineyards is a central coastwinery located in the Cienaga valley at the base of the Gabilan Mtns. The fruit comes from old non-irrigated hillside vines Lots of fruit and a touch of oak give a balanced mouth-feel and soft tannins allow for early enjoyment.Mailing address is Hollister, Ca.Contains Sulfites. winoweenie
