On the hunt for a n ew daily zin so started with these 2. Both nicely structured with all the correct items in place. The AV seemed a bit more intense and had the longer finish. Great sippers whilst watching that gorgus leggy blonde zip down the hill without breaking a sweat. "Vonn" fer the team. Plushdenkidiotsko wasn't the most gracious loser I've seen. Hims momma outa' whomp him on the head a few. WW

I picked up a few of the 07 Buehler last week but haven't tried it yet. The 08 is out? Surprised.

PS: Whoops, just looked at my bottles and they're 2008...not surprised now.

I tried the 2008 Cline Ancient Vines at a wine tasting yesterday and then popped the 08 Buehler after I returned home and preferred the Buehler. Thought it richer and more concentrated.

Opened another yesterday and I agree the Buehler is more balanced, better fruit and less alcoholic than the Cline. Am truly glad as I've known John Buehler since his 1st vintage and have taken loads of people to visit and there can't be a more gracious host enny-wheres than he be.One more to try but think I've decided on the 3 I'll be stashing. Another go-round with the dailies and this is a real front-runner. This bottle seemes to be balanced even with the 15% alc. Guess my tasties are either warped or completely out of commission. WW
