With the pizza I made for dinner last night, we opened up a Teldeschi DCV Zin - from 1991. Decanted carefully, just in case this sweet 16 decided to throw a lump or two, but there wasn't much at all - surprising. Didn't expect much, so we were very pleasantly surprised when we tasted this one. Doesn't have the big fruit it did in its youth, but there definitely is some left. Very restrained as you'd expect from a senior citizen. All in all, very enjoyable but definitely on the way down.

Have made the same observation probably 10-15 times due to my superior inventory control. WW
