From one of the oldest vineyards in Calif this is almost always the benchmark bottling of Ridges' terrific lineup. 68% Zinfandel mostly from 100+-year-old vines, 16% Carignane, and 16% Petite Sirah. Intense zin-berry, spices, and cocoa nose a that hits on all cylinders on the palate. Lite tannins need another 1-2 to resolve. Medium weight center and a terrific 4-lapper finish. 91/90. 28 by the box.14.8% alc. WW
