what kind of wine is recommended w/chicken cacciatore?

Cacciatore means hunter style in Italian. It's typically a robust stew with onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and a few other ingredients. It would call for a robust Italian wine to go with it, such as a Barolo.

Hi Reynaldo, and welcome to the Wine Board. Agree with KC, but for a lot less coin you might go for a Dolcetto d'Alba.
