I don't know what to make of this wine. When I first tasted it, it was among the most hedonistic zins I've ever had. Tonight, a few months later, it's all wood and no finish. The fruit is in there, but it's crawled into its shell, or the wine is in one of those stupid phases or....?

Bucko -- you're the one who first recommended this. Had one lately?

FYI - I believe the 95 is the last of the Kenwood Nunns Canyon as word has it they sold the vineyard.

I don't think Kenwood ever owned the vineyard. I heard St Francis bought it, but it wasn't from Kenwood

St. Francis did buy it from the previous owners, who retained something like 7 or 8 acres of Syrah. They will be bottling this under their label.
