Talk about your consistently good red wines...there haven't been many less than excellent examples of this wine. Had the 95 with a leg of lamb, sauteed peppers and onions and brussel sprouts (thank you, Sandra)and it cut right through the slightly gamey flavors of the lamb, the bit of fat and all. Mostly black raspberry flavors, a little plum and a touch of earthy black pepper. Neither harsh nor soft...just a real nice mouthful of red wine that had a great affinity for the food on the table.
