Comments on Web Special: Frick 1994 Zinfandel?

Frick 1994 Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel is on sale at $8 a bottle on the web only. In the past, I have enjoyed Frick Zinfandel (like the 1981 which, I think, sold for around $8 a bottle). Yesterday, I noticed this special on the web. Does anyone have tasting notes or any thoughts on this wine? In their current offerings, Frick seems to be focusing on Rhone varietals. Perhaps they are eliminating Zinfandel from their lineup and just liquidating inventory. Anyone know?
